Member-Led Event Opportunities

Members can bring successful executives and entrepreneurs together from within Rolling Stone Culture Council to strengthen their networks and grow their careers and companies.

One way to do this is to host your own Rolling Stone Culture Council-supported event!

If you’re interested, please fill out the application below.

Event Types

There are multiple types of events but the primary goal is to share ideas, experiences, and expertise.

Events can happen regularly or be one-time specials. If you are a Member Leader, this depends on the Member Leader, Group preferences, and available support.

NOTE: Not every topic is a good fit for an event, and event hosting is not a guaranteed member benefit. Our team carefully evaluates all applications and may provide feedback and suggestions. Our goal is to ensure that we are providing high-quality programming and filling your events with interested attendees. (You are always welcome to self-host events or webinars outside our platform and share with your network!)

Most events are held virtually. Events are not self-promotional. Sales pitches are not allowed.

Group Meetup

Meetups are an opportunity to gather members purely for connection and sharing. No speaker or presentation is required.

Masterclass

Masterclasses feature a subject matter expert(s) who will lead a focused learning session. Every class has time for Q&A.

Roundtable

Roundtables are a combination of a Meetup and a Masterclass led by a facilitator (often you). They may include breakouts.

Event Host Application Process

Interested in hosting an event?

In order to provide the best experience for all members, all interested hosts must fill out a simple application, meet with a member of our events team, and agree to the roles and responsibilities, if approved.

Requirements

To have a successful event, we require that:

  • If the event is for a Group, your Group has a healthy critical mass of active members. (If it is not Group-specific, we can help you determine whether your proposed idea is likely to succeed with members in general.)
  • You can demonstrate clear, business-minded takeaways upfront
  • Your event represents the community in a positive, appropriate manner.

If your Group is smaller than 50 members or you have other questions, please reach out to concierge@rollingstonecouncil.com to explore options!
