Michael Klein is CEO of Trees Corporation, a publicly-traded next-now cannabis company at the intersection of content, community, and commerce. Trees recently completed the acquisition of Miraculo Inc. of which Klein served as CEO. Before joining Miraculo, Klein served as Executive VP of Original Content for MTV, where he oversaw strategy and development for the iconic youth and music brand’s programming across all platforms. Klein was previously Executive VP of Programming and Content Strategy for Condé Nast Entertainment, where he was integral to launching the division charged with developing film, TV, and digital video projects to leverage the company’s iconic print brands. Klein oversaw the company’s large portfolio of digital channels, including Vogue, Vanity Fair, Wired, GQ, and The New Yorker. In addition, Klein led original programming for TLC, Travel Channel, and SundanceTV. An award-winning creator across television and digital media, Klein has been recognized by the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences with a Television Academy Honor as well as several Emmy® nominations. His work has garnered a Television Critics Association Award; Clio Image; World Medals from the New York Festivals; and other industry awards. Mr. Klein lives in New York.

The company has 11 Trees branded storefronts in Canada, including seven (7) stores owned and operated in Ontario and four (4) stores operated in British Columbia ("B.C."), subject to the closing of the acquisition of the shares or assets of 101 pursuant to the terms of the second amended and restated asset purchase agreement (the "101 Purchase Agreement") entered into between Trees and 101. The closing of the transactions contemplated by the 101 Purchase Agreement is subject to certain conditions precedent, including the receipt of certain licensing approvals and related regulatory consents.
