I am part of a global movement that exists to facilitate the shift in consciousness necessary to create a healthier human system. I believe that we are trying to solve the ecological, societal, and personal challenges of the 21st Century with 20th Century solutions. As a consequence we are getting results that NOBODY wants. Although nobody wishes for the issues of climate change, we are unable to collectively so much as define the problem. Although we all wish for our work to have meaning, many are stuck in careers, jobs or labor that do not fulfill us or align with our purpose. Although we all wish for wellness for ourselves and our communities, our anxiety and mental health is in crisis. I support this movement and live my purpose through three core passions: As the Chief Culture Officer of Meaning I help organizations be more human, challenge stale systems and create meaning for their people and the communities they serve. I work to create new value systems that liberate companies beyond the sole purpose of profit. As the Executive Creative Director of INVNT, I create, write, pitch, and win business…rarely alone, usually as the creative leader of dynamic project teams. Live brand storytelling is my discipline which is a clever way of saying much of my work and projects culminate in a live event. As the creator and co-host of Alz In The Fam, I create a community with my siblings around mental health with an emphasis on Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. Our mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2013, and through our podcast and fundraising efforts, we fight for a cure and honor her love. I’m also a dude, dad, DC sports fan, a poet, a crap gardener, and rubbish meditator. I’m a student of life with a lot to learn and a desire to be better. Break bread with me in NYC, hustle with me anywhere the hustle may be, make meaning with me wherever the universe beckons us to meet. “Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing there is a field. I will meet you there.” —Rumi
