After transitioning from a long-standing career in Chicago construction and a small legal practice, I embarked on a new journey in 2017 to co-found Grow America, a pioneering Consulting+Design+Build firm exclusively dedicated to the cannabis industry. My objective was to establish a comprehensive hub for cannabis applicants and licensees, encompassing consulting, zoning, land development, architecture, engineering, interior design, and turnkey construction. Since our inception, we’ve spearheaded over 100 cannabis projects across the nation, from Fisherman’s Wharf in San Fransisco to the first dispensary off Broadway in Manhattan. While we have collaborated with numerous prominent multi-state operators and well-known brands, I am most proud of our flagship social equity program helping to launch dozens of ‘mom and pop’ operators by providing consulting and documentation they otherwise wouldn’t have access to, and leveling the playing field. I earned my Bachelor of Arts at the University of Iowa and Juris Doctor at the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, and currently sit on the National Cannabis Industry Association’s Facility Design Committee, and am a commissioner on the Highland Park Planning & Design Commission.

That same year, Grow America was honored with the prestigious New Jersey Cannabis Insider award for Excellence in Cannabis Building Operations. This recognition further solidified their reputation as a leading force in the cannabis industry.
