Maren Steiner brings over a decade of medical and risk management experience and a unique perspective to the event planning process. Steiner is a specialist in ensuring the health and safety of guests at entertainment gatherings, and she has built medical teams and emergency action plans for some of the largest events in the world. Some of her recent work includes the Academy Awards, SAG Awards, Long Beach and Huntington Beach Surf City Marathons, and Red Bull Soap Box Races. In addition to managing specific events, Steiner coordinates medical services for multiple major venues in and around Southern California and provides full service, pre-hospital care centers for West Hollywood and other major cities during mass gatherings. Steiner also served as the Medical Coordinator for CBS Television City working on shows such as American Idol and Dancing with the Stars and was the first female member of the emergency response team, F-31 employed by NBCUniversal in Universal City, Calif. During her time as the Insomniac Health & Safety Director, she worked on ground-breaking research in support of mass gathering medicine protocols in the United States and abroad. These protocols are now being used for the treatment of patients at music festivals including Insomniac's international Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas, New York, Orlando, Japan and Mexico City - to name a few.
