About
Scott Hagen is the CEO of Victrola and Innovative “it” Technologies, overseeing the growth and innovation of the company to ensure listeners continue making memories through music. Since joining the Victrola family in 2019, Hagen has implemented his two decades of audio industry expertise to instill Victrola’s core values of quality, versatility, integrity, style, community, and timelessness into the company’s product lineup. Prior to joining Victrola, Hagen was a leader in the growth of many audio brands as an officer at Sound United, a premium home audio manufacturer which owns Denon, Marantz, and Polk Audio, among others. He began his career in consumer electronics at Best Buy, where he led the Home Audio, Magnolia, Mobile Electronics, Musical Instruments, and Digital Imaging businesses for two decades. Hagen found his passion for music at an early age, where he was surrounded by a family of musicians. Some of his first musical memories were in his grandmother’s home, where he would wind up an old Victrola turntable to enjoy listening to records, sparking his love of music and music technology. This lifelong admiration for music drove him to attend the Music Technical Institute of Minnesota for Recording, while also playing piano with a variety of artists early in his professional career. Hagen currently resides in the greater Denver area with his wife and two children.
