Empowering Entrepreneurship and Cultural Diversity

On the upcoming global horizon of entrepreneurship and cultural influence, few names resonate as profoundly as
Tim Jack's. An American entrepreneur, filmmaker, and investor, Tim is the embodiment of innovation and creativity. As the Founder and CEO of
Rise, an automated marketing platform, JACKTV, an award-winning production company, and the author of the forthcoming book "Make A Move," Tim's journey exemplifies the relentless pursuit of inspiration and the power of taking decisive action, a little bit at a time, every day.

Tim's entrepreneurial journey began at a remarkably young age. At just 21, he co-founded House of Genius, a global entrepreneurial events company that hosted events at prestigious venues such as The White House and the U.N. This early venture laid the foundation for Tim's future endeavors, showcasing his knack for bringing people together and fostering collaboration on a global scale.

With a passion for fostering creativity and innovation, Tim went on to co-found Capitol, one of Colorado's first co-working spaces tailored for digital creatives. This endeavor not only provided a nurturing environment for budding talent but also solidified Tim's reputation as a visionary leader within the industry.

However, it was Tim's foray into filmmaking that truly captured the world's attention. His Emmy award-winning documentary, "Enormous: The Gorge Story," chronicled the evolution of The Gorge, an iconic concert venue, capturing the essence of its storied history and cultural significance.

Through this project, Tim demonstrated his ability to weave captivating narratives that resonate deeply with audiences.

“For the documentary, I emailed the CEO and I said that the venue is such a beautiful place. There’s not a lot of great footage of it. I would love to come out there and make a short film for YouTube or something like that. I sent the email, and within like 25 minutes the CEO responded and said oh yeah, there’s a great story about this place. You should talk to people. I was introduced to the president of Northwest, and then I flew to Seattle five days after having dinner with this guy and then ended up making a movie.”

As an investor, Tim's portfolio reflects his keen eye for groundbreaking ventures. From SpaceX and Starlink to venture capital funds like Sweater Ventures and NFT fund Vertical Ventures, Tim's strategic investments underscore his commitment to supporting innovation across various industries.

Amidst his myriad achievements, Tim's decision to join Rolling Stone Culture Council stands as a testament to his dedication to fostering cultural impact and meaningful connections. While initially hesitant to fully leverage his council membership, Tim's recent endeavors have sparked a newfound appreciation for the platform's potential. Moving forward in 2024 with his book, and now as an author, Tim recounts how easy Rolling Stone Culture Council’s EP’s are to answer and get published, “I answer Rolling Stone Culture Council Expert Panel questions because they’re an extremely easy way to gain visibility and be published as an expert thought-leader on RollingStone.com.”

In his forthcoming book, "Make A Move," Tim distills his years of experience “making moves” by doing simple things, every day that add up to making big waves towards his goals. “Make a Move” is positioned to bring easy-going wisdom into actionable insights for aspiring entrepreneurs and creatives. Through 17 working chapters filled with practical advice and philosophical musings, Tim empowers readers to embrace an "exercise mindset" of “doing”, inspiring them to overcome obstacles and seize opportunities with confidence.

Tim's approach to success is grounded in authenticity and self-awareness. He emphasizes the importance of staying true to oneself, even when society or peers have other opinions of what you should do, be, or even where you should live. For Tim, success is not just about achieving goals but also about aligning one's actions with their core values and aspirations. There is no magic formula for success, other than showing up every day. He is not someone who would recommend waking up daily at 5 am, taking cold showers, or relentlessly pursuing money over happiness.

“For some bodies, cold showers are the absolute worst thing you could do to yourself,” Tim laughs. “If you want to start a project, start with an email, and start with creating a conversation with people you think may be interested. Start showing up. If you want to create a whole album of new music, you can’t record it all in one day, but you can play your favorite guitar a few minutes a day, and a song you’ve never played before, and get one thing down, every day. Before you realize it, you’ll have an album. It’s small steps, doing something every day that makes the difference.”

As Tim embarks on his latest venture into social content creation, he remains committed to sharing his journey with others. Through platforms like Instagram and YouTube, Tim aims to provide a behind-the-scenes look into his creative process, offering valuable insights and lessons along the way. He’s hired a video production team to log and chart his journey as he writes his book. He hopes that sharing his daily “doing” habits inspires other creatives and thought leaders to become doers, without rigid checklists.

In reflecting on his membership in the Rolling Stone Culture Council, Tim acknowledges the transformative power of collaboration and shared knowledge. While initially hesitant to fully embrace the platform, Tim now recognizes its potential to amplify his message and reach a broader audience.

For Tim Jack, the journey is far from over. With each new project and endeavor, he continues to push the boundaries of innovation and creativity, inspiring others to make their move and shape the future of culture and entrepreneurship. Follow his adventures on Rise | Tout | and JACKTV.
