Darrell Cross is a media and entertainment executive with a broad finance and accounting background in domestic and international business across various industries including entertainment, technology, and telecommunications. As Chief Financial Officer of MarVista Entertainment, Cross is responsible for overseeing financial operations and growth opportunities, leveraging new business models and capital management. Before joining MarVista, Cross was the COO/CFO for Wild Card where he was responsible for the financial operations of the company and oversaw the formation of the 3AM Creative Group, a social media marketing company geared towards the development of new forms of content and marketing for modern, global audiences including strategy analysis, positioning and partner analysis integration opportunities. Prior to Wild Card, he was the chief financial officer for Deluxe Media where he was responsible for all divisional financial operations including financial reporting, mergers and acquisitions, and planning/budgeting. These businesses encompassed post-production services for Home Entertainment (DVD/Blu Ray and Digital Distribution), Content Localization (Subtitling, Audio and Foreign Language Dubbing), TV/Film Remastering/Repurposing, Archival, Syndicated TV and Advertising distribution. Prior to joining Deluxe, Mr. Cross was the vice president of finance at TechnoCom, a telecommunications software company, where he oversaw the financial operations including debt/equity financing and was instrumental in the sale of the location equipment division to CalAmp. Before joining TechnoCom, Mr. Cross came from public accounting where he worked with both public and private companies across a wide range of industries including communications, entertainment, and non-profit. Mr. Cross is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Oregon and a Master's of Business Administration degree from UCLA Anderson School of Management.
