About

I was a recently named partner of a mid-sized international law firm based out of Chicago when I came to Savannah on business for the first time. I fell so in love with the city, the culture and the food that after only a few days of depositions in the Hostess City, I retired from the practice of law, moved my family across country, and began a food tour company with one of my brothers (Donald Card). That was the end of 2011, beginning of 2012. We went in head first - investing all of our time and waist line to learning everything we could about the cuisine, food culture, and the people that make it so delicious. We quickly gained recognition from the Huffington Post, Redbook Magazine, US News & Reports and many others. It wasn't long before we were asked to write a book on the culinary history of city, which we did in 2017 - "Savannah Food: A Delicious History" (History Press). Even after over 9 years of immersing ourselves in the bourgeoning food culture of Savannah, we are more in love than ever. We continue to develop new experiences and partnerships to help celebrate the culinary renaissance happening in our wee slice of paradise. Believe it or not, we have even found success in the tourism and food industry during the pandemic. Outside of work, I am married to my high school sweetheart with whom I am raising two smart and sweet tweenagers! And if I'm not with my brood, I'm riding motorcycles across country or sitting behind the controls of a tiny airplane working on my pilot's license.
